== Overview ==
[[Arte-Nakatomi Research Company|ANRC]]'s ''Research Department'' is the largest and most important department to the operations of the company, being where nearly 40% of employees end up working. It is active across almost every ANRC site globally, and also maintains a slurry of sub-departments relating to specific needs of some sites.

Primarily, Research handles the scientific side of ANRC's operations, supporting researchers and scientists along their journey of hypothesis, tests, and etcetera. The Department is similarly responsible for all products that the company pushes out. They often end up collaborating with the [[Engineering & Technology Department]] on a regular basis.

[[Asakura Nakatomi]] has a personal interest in the Department, and is a senior advisor to the department.
