The Arte-Nakatomi Research Company (Abbreviated commonly as ANRC) is a global research organization that primarily specializes in projects relating to improving human lives in some way or another, or some stranger projects that end up buried deeper in the archives. It primarily operates out of the United States and Canada, but has their most important facility located in Primorsky Krai, Russia.

The company describes its goal as "creating a better future, one atom at a time." They prioritize projects focusing on creating things that can generally improve human life. This can include improved versions of currently existant technology, or entirely brand new technology that can achieve something that other technology cannot. However, the company does also do a variety of other projects.

History

ANRC was originally founded as the Arte-Nakatomi Laboratories by Asakura Nakatomi and Maya Arte-Dramkt in 20XX, starting out of a studio-turned-lab in Tacoma, Washington, utilizing funding given to them by a select few teachers at their universities. The staff, originally, counted at 20 or less, and were mostly fellow students that they had dragged on board to help get this lab off the ground.
