Overview

[edit]

The Squaxin Nuclear Laboratory & Power Station (commonly abbreviated to SNLPS), located in the United States near Duvall, Washington, is ANRC's current location dedicated to research on nuclear materials and, similarly, is host to ANRC's first experimental nuclear reactor, which continues to operate and powers the local area.

While ANRC focuses on the research aspect of the site, ANFEC focuses on operating the reactor within the safety standards issued by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ensuring the location doesn't get shut down.

It was named after the local Squaxin Island Tribe, with permission, and hosts on-site cultural artifacts gifted to the company from the Tribe. A few employees at the site are similarly from the Tribe.
