Overview

The Squaxin Nuclear Laboratory & Power Station (commonly abbreviated to SNLPS) is ANRC's current location dedicated to research on nuclear materials and, similarly, is host to ANRC's first experimental nuclear reactor, which continues to operate and powers the local area. It's located near Duvall, Washington.

While ANRC focuses on the research aspect of the site, ANFEC focuses on operating the reactor within the safety standards issued by the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, ensuring the location doesn't get shut down.
